Bengaluru, provided training to over 400 scouts and guides students from various BBMP schools and colleges across Bangalore, in essential emergency care and life-saving skills at State Scouts & Guides Training Academy, Doddabalapur on 23rd April 2019.
During the training session, the team of Golden Hour trainers empowered the cadets with knowledge in basic life-support (BLS) and first aid, readying them to respond effectively to any medical emergency situations and mass casualties.
Golden Hour initiative is the brain child of Dr. NK Venkataramana, Founder Chairman & Chief Neurosurgeon, Brains Hospital.
Why is the Golden Hour so significant?
Golden Hour refers to the crucial hour immediately after a medical emergency or injury when the right medical treatment is most likely to save lives. Stabilizing emergency patients in the right way at the right facility at the right time is, therefore, of the greatest importance for reducing complications, optimizing costs and saving lives.
